Our company uses a contact management software to keep track of all clients. Since this software does not have any storage capabilities, we use File Manager to store all the files related to those clients.
The suggestion i have would be to have the ability to hotlink a folder so that i can create a button in our contact management software that will link to that folder so we can view all the files related to that client without having to open a web page, login and then search for them.

I was able to get a workaround to this by going into IIS and enabling directory browsing on the Clients folder. It works but the result gives the boring directory view. Would be nice if this would be implemented to allow the File Manager directory view.

Our users also requested the "folder hotlink" feature. They use deep folder paths in file manager and exchange their data with many external partners. Therefore having the possibility to hotlink a folder would be perfect. We donīt mean to download a folder directly via hotlink (would maybe also be useful) but if someone clicks on a "hot"-link to a folder he will automatically have his filemanager opened with the specified folder after logging in. Would this be possible?
We tried to simply copy the folders url out of the browser but this leads just to login screen and afterwards to the main/root folder of filemanager.
(sry 4 bad english ;) )

As a workaround for now, you can enable directory browsing on the Clients folder. This will allow you to access the folder through a URL without getting the login screen. Keep in mind this pretty much disables all security to the Clients folder.
